Makana Landscape
Welcome to Makana, truly one of the most beautiful estates on Oahu. The vast open green yard leads into a lush private garden that overlooks one of the most iconic estates on the island of Oahu. Makana is a special place where dreams truly come true. Lush Palm Landscapes revitalized the entire landscaping of this property back in 2019 when the homeowners wanted to redo their existing landscape. It was an extensive task that required planning and foresight to design and build a garden that would make the same impact as the home does to the property. This garden stands the test of time, making it a true masterpiece.
Lush Palm Landscapes designed this garden to reflect the peaceful embrace of the property by installing colorful Hawaiian tropical plants, providing a sense of place.
The difference presented in this photo is that it showcases an entirely “new” side of the landscape, although it is actually the same spot with a fresh scenery featuring lush layers of color and a harmonious balance between plantings and textures. Artificial grass was opted for instead of real grass due to its low maintenance and long lifespan.
The word Makana means gift in Hawaiian. Lush Palm Landscapes created this garden with the gift of Aloha. One of our most cherished gardens.
